Yoga
Sophie Belliveau
Sophie teaches Vinyasa and Vin & Yin at Inspire Yoga. She brings a blend of softness, strength, and fiery energy to the mat.
Her yoga journey began over 10 years ago when a friend invited her to a hot yoga class. The physical challenge pulled her in, but the introspection, quiet mind, and kindness she learned to give herself are what kept her coming back. Completing her teacher training started as a gift to herself and became the doorway to teaching.

Pilates
Karine Cormier
Karine brings a powerful, fierce energy to the mat, the kind that pushes you, supports you, and leaves you smiling through the sweat.
Her fitness journey started with teaching spin and bootcamp, while Pilates was something she practiced quietly at home. Over time, that passion grew into a calling. With encouragement from others, she found her voice, and now she leads with confidence and heart. She hopes everyone leaves feeling better than when they walked in.
What excites her most about Inspire Yoga?
Connecting with people and sharing the energy that comes from moving and sweating together.

Christine brings a heart-centered energy to the mat, offering a space where students feel supported and invited to listen inward.
Her yoga journey began over 25 years ago. What started as a way to sweat and move has evolved into a deeper practice of connection, especially through the transitions of menopause. Yoga now keeps her grounded, aligned with her energy, and connected to who she truly is.
As a Reiki Master and Healing Touch / Lotus Light Therapy practitioner, she felt called to help others navigate physical and emotional changes with more ease and presence.
Her teaching style is loving, compassionate, add grounded, and she hopes her students leave class feeling loved, supported, and grateful.

Her yoga journey began in 1999, practicing each morning in her Halifax apartment before heading to university. That simple moment of “me time” planted the seed of a lifelong practice.
Inspired by the teachers who shaped her path, Lisa felt called to share the tools that helped her live a healthier, more grounded life. After her first training in India, she knew these teachings were meant to be passed on.

Movement has been part of Emilie’s life from a young age. She grew up dancing and that rhythm, body awareness, and love of technique naturally led her to Pilates. She instantly fell in love with how strong, aligned, and connected it made her feel and knew she wanted to help others experience that same confidence.
Her teaching style can be described in three words: supportive, empowering, intentional.

Yoga & Meditation
Julie DeMaeyer
Julie teaches yoga and meditation at Inspire Yoga. She brings a steady, grounded presence to the mat, shaped by years of practice and study in yogic traditions. She first came to yoga for the physical benefits, but over time the practice opened into something much deeper and more meaningful.
Her first yoga teacher encouraged her to take the leap into training, and that gentle nudge changed everything. Julie now hopes to offer her students the same feeling…supported, uplifted, and inspired.
Three words that describe her teaching:
playful, present, patient
Her hope for students:
That they leave class feeling uplifted, more connected to their own true nature, and committed to their spiritual path, whatever that looks like for them.
What excites her most about Inspire Yoga?
Being part of a warm, healthy community and offering simple tools people can use in everyday life.
Fun facts:
She’s a coffee-then-tea-then-smoothie person (vegan all the way). When she’s not teaching, she’s usually at home in the woods with her partner of 33 years and their dog, enjoying the peaceful space they built together or out walking in nature, her happy place.

Ghislaine brings a calm, steady energy to her Vinyasa classes, the kind that feels grounding and supportive… and then somehow still wakes up every single muscle (she learned that herself in her first class back in 2009 when she discovered muscles she never knew existed).
What started as “sure, I’ll try a class with my friend” quickly turned into wow, I need more of this. Yoga became her anchor, her challenge, and her happy place and now she loves sharing that feeling with others.
What excites her most about Inspire Yoga?
The community. The good vibes. The authenticity. She loves guiding people to feel stronger, calmer, and more connected and witnessing those “ohhh I can do this!” moments.

Michelle teaches Yin, Restorative, and Meditation at Inspire Yoga Shediac. She discovered yoga at 20, but it was in 2014, as a tired mom of three young kids working full-time shift work, that her practice truly became a lifeline. Showing up on her mat brought noticeable shifts in her mental health, and that steady return eventually led her to complete her teacher training in 2016.
Michelle loves guiding students toward a sense of calm and ease, and nothing makes her happier than seeing people leave class feeling more grounded than when they arrived.

Meeting new faces and sharing her love of Yin and Yoga with the community.
